YOUR BEAUTY

I just want to tell you how much I miss the curve of your back. your aroma on my sheets. The glint in your eye when you smile like you've been "up to something." The power in your voice when we make love. I miss how you hold me when I am scared and I feel insecure. I can still feel the linger of your soft lips on mine. My eyes drink your beauty; my body craves your attention. I am as much a part of you and you to me; intertwined we are one. Apart I am a shell with out a soul.

Just a wayward soul in search of enlightenment through written word. I write so that the world knows I exist. Gratitude to all who share a passion for expressing their life through written and spoken words.

It's gripping, and honest. Both good attributes in a poet.
