Your Body is Awesome

Your body is not a temple; it's a tree.

Equipt with branches for limbs and leaves for all the little in betweens.

Trees are meant to grow strong for years and years

with their roots consistently reaching further.

They can handle whatever the weather may whip at them;

from screetching, unsettling storms to salty, sunfilled summers.

The white light after the black of a midnight monsoon only shines to show that all of the trees

are left standing and steadily stretching for the sky.

Don't you dare cut at the bark of your trunk; you need it to breathe.

As long as you stand tall, your roots will coninue to journey and the sun will

continue to shine.

Some days may be darker than others, but there's

always going to be light stuck between the veins of your leaves

that will illuminate from within.

Trees come from nature, and so do you.
