Your Comforting Love

Worries worries worries

Who is he with?

Why didn’t he tell me where he was going?

Is he lying to me?

Oh how I hate those worries that rush through me like an open flame.

With you it is different

I do not get those worries with you

In fact it is the opposite

With you I get understanding conversations

With you I get an active listener

With you I get a realization of my self worth

It is you that encourages me to keep my head held up high

It is you that fills me with a joy that I have never felt before

It is your kind words of acceptance that lets me know it is okay to be me

My only worry with you is how far we will go together

Because I never want to hurt you

Because I never want to hold you back from reaching your full potential

Because I never want you to feel alone and disappointed

Because I love you I wish you the best in life

Because I love you  I will hold on to this until it is time to let go.

Because I love you I will never be able to show you how thankful I am to have you in my life.
