You've got me pacing back and forth
You've got me doubting what I'm worth
This is it now, I'm all through
I'm living my life and it's not for you
They say I need you, but they're all wrong
I'm gonna conquer this world on my own
So, I'm leaving in just a few days
To chase my dreams and sing my blues away
Because you're not what I need
And I want to be free
Yeah you're not what I need
Just watch and you will see
Stop testing me for my definition
It doesn't measure my intelligence or my ambition
I'm just fine the way I am
You tell me I can't and I'll prove that I can
They say I need you, but they're all wrong
I'm gonna conquer this world on my own
So, I'm leaving in just a few days
To chase my dreams and sing my blues away
Because you're not what I need

It's been real but it hasn't been fun
