Your Dove

The songs resound through endless night

They sing of loss, of lover’s plight

Love lost, love found, love lost again

Heart strangled as by lover’s bane

The songs resound through endless night

They sing of loss, of lover’s plight

You listen and you feel, no doubt,

As if your heart has lost a bought

The song’s resound through endless night

They sing of loss, of lover’s plight

You feel as if you can’t go on

And then the song reveals its con

The key of life, it quickly shifts

It brightens, softens, and up lifts

Your heart no longer feels so bound

It leaps and soars with new abound

Now what, you ask, has caused this change

What’s made your life to rearrange?

The cause you seek came from above

Be grateful, for you’ve found your dove
