Your Escape

Revert your body back close to mine when the fear of reality haunts you. A return to simplicity when life goes to fast but I know you'll go back. I really should stop for my brain is against it, as this love is just shared one way. But when opportunity presents my heart jumps at the thought and all reason becomes meaningless.

I thought the fact that this poem brings about the idea of simplicity and that the poem itself is simple helps to make a big impact on the reader. Love is a simple word, but it can mean so much.
