Your Eyes
When I look into your eyes I don't expect to see the drive to win, because that is a mere flame that is only fueled by a finite source. No, I don't want to see that. I expect to see an inferno that burns in your eternal core. When you are down on your knees with the weight of the world on your shoulders, and you look up only to see every mountain standing in front of you, and victory is so far gone that you begin to think it is a whisper of legend passed down on through a breeze from the past. THAT’S when I expect to see a blaze that consumes you; a blaze that fuels you with a rage unrivaled by anything created by the Heavens. A blaze that torments you with the pain of 1,000 souls damned to Hell, a pain that rips into your own soul deeper and deeper every moment you stay on your knees. I expect to see in these times of, dare I say defeat? Not a passion for victory, not a mere drive to win, I expect to see nothing less than victory in its purest form raging in your eyes! When I look into your eyes…that is what I expect to see.
