your him

to bless his soul

the unseen curfew

the one that lays underneath your mattress at night

something that tourtures you in the night but blesses your soul

to configure the thought of unknown perfection

to twist the words round about your skin

I bless you with this kiss

I lay it upon your hands

I hold you in the dark hour

and rock you to bed
