Your Loss

I’m not really sure what your goal is

Or what you’re hoping that you will gain

But the reason your heart is so cold is

You are immune to others and their pain

Can’t you see that my heart is aching?

Or that my soul is growing weary?

If you stay on the path that you’re taking

I must say our future looks dreary

I can’t take this game any longer

Soon I’ll have to hold up my white flag

More and more I’m beginning to ponder

If this is another win in your bag

My point is, my dear, that I’m finished

And I just thought I’d stop by and say

That your victory has been diminished

Can’t win a game you don’t know how to play
