Engraved in my brain,

And the memories that we shared.

First, the lungs, where oxygen is needed

That’s when I start to get nervous

And the butterflies begin to flutter.

Continuously it makes a pit stop to all my bones,

Making me feel weaker than

Eeyore dragging big old Pooh with five jars of honey.

Yet when I’m around you, you’re the Energizer Bunny,

That keeps going and going and going…

Finally, your love travels through the veins back home,

Only to recommence its cycle, as my admiration level rises.

From your smile, your laugh, and your sexist jokes

To your intelligence, your inquisitiveness, and your intrepidness
