From Your mind to mine

From Your mind to mine

Mercedes Dickerson

I write about you

To learn and see

How can I understand which you will not say to me?

The construction of a few lines

I now know Yours aches, Your pain

I can pinpoint everything you love and hate

From Your mind to mine

A poem, a test

How I seek the rest

How I write and find

Now I know,

What your life is like

If only for a short time
