Your Minor Flaw
Days like this,
Undermined,
Unhinged
A whisper of peace,
In a screaming hymn of disorder, like a burning city
My least worries,
Become bigger than fear, bigger than myself
Underestimated,
Perceiving my flaw,
I gain wisdom,
My claw
Touched I say,
His glory, over the skies, over the universe
Death is none, death is my opposite, like an antonym
The fear of those lost, like myself and my family
It is fictional,
Fictional like my super heroes, I only have one
Oh Lord, save me, the waters are over my head, I'm drowning
Our glasses are empty, but we bring them up in a toast for your glory, we can get through this, you will protect us
I have faith,
I have no fear, like your word say, What can Mere Mortals do to me?
I doubt, but just to feel safe, I know it's wrong, it is wrong like killing,
But my doubt is my flaw
My memory is like ink on paper, it's there but some it's blurred
I really am trying to be a better man, despite everything, I really am
I am learning for the sake of learning, just to be better,
Know your word better, become closer, overcome my flaw
I will rise up, you put strength in my back bone, like a metal bracing for a broken bone
I will get over this flaw, and that will be, now
Now with great victory, humble servant am I
