Your Ocean

CC BY-ND
I don't think that you ever quite understood what I meant when i told you i loved you For i sat up late at night playing back all of our memorized till my eyes closed with the remanence of your being. The way your eyes looked in the sun on that day when we sat on the grass just looking into each other's eyes For so much is said in the silence between two people In this world full of grey and beige, you were my vermilion, my chartreuse You were the texture on my walls where i hung the paintings of our past Now every corner i turn im constantly reminded of everything Every i love you, every striking smile, every brush of your fingers along my skin Im traped now Im lost in the dark oceans that storm in your eyes waves pulling me farther and farther out
