From, your outcast

You have changed me

That’s for sure

To everyone

You have allure

You make the fine lines disappear

Give me guidance

Give me fear

Your judgment forceful

Your acceptance low

Now I know

You made me strong

Resilient

And real

With you there always

I taught myself

I am strong

I am beautiful

I am smart

I am funny

I am perfect

Just the way I am

And so is everyone else

I can go far

I can achieve

I can be happy

Without you

So with that

Thank you,

Society’s standards

From,

your outcast
