Your Plan

On that day

I was just a small child

Wanting to play

I was forced into maturity

When she died

God rejected me

He laughed in my face:

“I don’t give more than

you can handle.”

He rejected me and

Expected me to accept

Him as the King of my life

It is said in Genesis

Eve created Sin with the fruit

Only on His basis

He damned His creation

Who is He, anyway?

God rejected me

He looked down on a small girl,

“What a sinner, she is; woe is me

for making such a mistake.”

He rejected me and

Expected me to find

Love in Him and embrace it.

Well, if it is truth,

That I am to worship Him,

I thank Him for His rejection.

Oh, deity, do not be

So dumbfounded.

After all, ‘twas your genius

That designed the plan

That aligned my stars

With a whole new galaxy.

I have found real love

Through your malice.

It was all in your plan.
