Your Prayer

We die And cry. Bled and bruised For we are the abused. Stab and cut That keeps us shut. Silent thus We no longer plea But need your prayer. You Watch us Like we are a zoo. Don’t see, Don’t care. We’re not Perfect Loved Cared for. What is to protect? Distraught Right to the core. Shoved As you walked by with more than Enough, Saying we could have ran Been tough. We die. Making us cuss Because you won’t feed Us. Are we a creature less than man? Cuss. Because you’re skinnier than Us. Cuss. Because you still don’t know where I got my black eye. Because you don’t care, Your greed. But we still need your prayer. We bleed Human blood too, Uninterrupted Making us corrupted Because no one is willing to Stop it Killing the chance for these who could have grew setting them alit Because no one likes people with Broken hearts, Wishing to be freed Through I wish it were a myth Mysterious arts We are bruised From their constant violence For we are the abused From the silence Because you don’t care But we still need your prayer You’d rather kill me Your compassion is few Than save me Don’t you see You killed me Not because you didn’t do Because you don’t care All we need is your prayer We cut and stab But not jab Because we are Numb And want to feel Not like scum Is that bizarre? Is there a way to heal? We The starved The imperfect The bruised The abused Want to be free For you to protect And all we can do is kneel Hoping to heal This is what the world carved
