By Your Side

I might not ever change, But my love will stay the same, I know that life is not a game, And there are tears I can't contain, But your love is what I'll gain, I'll heal your wounds and end your pain, Calm down, don't go insane, Lean on me, I'll be your cane, Here I stood and there you came, Sweetly calling out my name, I knew my love could not be tamed, And when success is obtained, Our sparks will fly like a plane, And we'll be walking down the lane, With no more tears and no more rain
