Your Smile

The sparkle in your eyes is what first drew me to you,

but it was your smile that captivated me.

More powerful than gravity your smile keeps me grounded.

Your smile is my security blanket, my savior in life.

When you look at me just the way you do the monsters in my heart retreat back into their cage.

With your smile in my sights the cold recedes leaving behind a glow as gentle as a breeze, and as warm as the sun.

I could watch you for hours doing nothing at all,

because when you smile everything glimmers and shines.

This world wouldn't be complete without that sparkle in your eyes and the smile that I love,

the smile all the way to your eyes.
