Your Son, Not Your Daughter
Dear Mom & Dad,
I hate to say this, but you both make me extremely sad.
Why did you give me so much fucking false hope?
Maybe I should end this rejection with a tight rope.
I don't want these memories anymore.
So I'm packing up my things and I'm gonna slam the door.
The worse part is being with you used to feel like home.
But what's a home without love?
What's a home if it's filled with so many fucking ghosts?
Sincerely,
Your transgender son
