Your Spark

War brings death and despair

Even to a 3 year old boy with black hair.

A Turkish beach stained with blood,

Innocents caught by The Flood.

A father weeps, the world cries.

No one should see a child die.

Red and blue stain the mind,

Hope gets hard to find.

The economy is beat

Nowhere to sleep, nothing to eat.

A man sits against a brick wall,

Playing with his pooch, throwing a ball.

And if, by chance, food does come by

He shares with his dog, with a smile and a sigh.

With a furry-haired friend

Hope can never end.

The world is dark,

The world is unfair,

But don't lose your spark,

Hope is still there.

Look a you cup,

Say it's half full.

If you fall get up.

Fear is null.
