To your storms of heartbreak,
Storms, that's what you are.
You struck at my most vulnerable times,
2 am to be exact,
The loneliness hour of the night,
When the sky is a deep black and there are no stars.
That’s when I’m in my bed,
Overthinking on the fact of how oblivious I am.
You rained and thundered away all the love and trust
that I gave you.
For which I have nothing left.
You swept away all the memories out the door,
For I am reminiscing.
You left me with horrid memories of what you have done to me,
Your rapid winds are roaring around me.
You spit rain on me.
But in the end,
i'll never hate you.
To you, I was just a single raindrop in your storm.
But for me, you were my hurricane.
