Your Voice

I try to call you

As much as I can

because your voice, it

saves me.

When I am home,

we may not get along

but I don't care.

Your voice

saves me.

Mom, yout tell me

all the things of the world

your voice caresses me

making me feel safe

it helps me through the pain, it

saves me.

You tell me right from wrong

You tell me what to do

You tell me how to heal

You tell me how to hurt

You tell me to move on

You tell me harsh words

You tell me kind words

but in the end,

your voice

saves me.
