Your Weak Heart
I see you near the corner, where the flies circle like vultures.
Waiting for your heart to decease and decay.
You sit there hopelessly, lost but conscious.
Softens the rock, but hardens the clay.
You find yourself hopeless, so you frown at the world.
So you closed the books of your heart, for today.
But why?
So I sneak into your chest, and
Found what was stray.
For you gave up on the things that you've cling to.
For you feared, it would be taken away.
Turn on the light to see clearer,
So dreams can rise by the day.
