"Your Words"

Falling heavily on the words you said to me. I skid and slip, to fully understand the depths. I step over the sadness and anxiety, And cover it up with a black tarp, To mark the distance from it. As I grow, Your words move like a symphony around me, And the accusation of you knowing everything Still holds true. Tell me something about your invasion of words. Tell me about the love you have but the hate you carry. Tell me one good thing.

I think this poem will allow the reader to think of certain conversations they had with someone throughout the years, at least that's what it's reminding me of. Feel free to comment! :)
