Your Words

Burning ears bleeding heart Your cold words tear me apart. They're like venom injected into my heart, At first they sting maybe just slightly but the worst is yet to come. The power of your words spread throughout me causing more hurt and pain. You may have not meant the trauma you've caused bt they hurt still the same. "Fatty, ugly, bastard child", they're just words I think but it doesn't help. Pain, hurt and even anger begin to build and as the tears swell up in my shot red eyes I try and think, "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me".... But they do! They sting, burn and cripple my heart! Your words! Your words! As lethal as a gun wound and a bite from a poisonous snake. They hurt me worse if not just the same... Burning ears bleeding heart Your cold words they tear me apart......
