Why jewel of our nation, why?
Why taken too soon,
Samanyanga why?
Unlike other dirt minded
And blood stained individuals,
Your mind wasn't dirt but HEALTH,
Harmless and perfect
Your music, a tremendous soul booster
Boosting Zimbabwe's immunity system
Your lyrics heal this socially ailing nation
Your art work quenched the decades long economic thirsty
Your nutritious, well balanced music
A diet adequate in nutrients,
That erode and corrode all dietary deficiency
Yes! Your super ingredients art work,
Heals kwashiorkor nations
Jealous down Tuku,
The world salutes your philosophical music prowess
In times of conflicts,
Your music left the divided nation closely knitted
You were a superstar unifier whose lyrics
Never left any room for civil war
Even now that you are gone,
Your multipurpose music serves its purpose.
Your music still stands,
And still carries us through
The darkest and happiest moment
In times of trouble,
Your music cures depression
Your melodious lyrics echo at the back of my mind
The lyrics: Eeee todii, what shall we do, senze njani?
Reduce stress and induces humanity
Rinamanyanga hariputirwe invigorates and rejuvenate wisdom
“Bvuma wachembera” has no side effects
I remember your well branded stylish coughing,
You disappeared Samanyanga
But your timeless and time tested songs,
Are nothing more than a miracle drug
Naturally sweet without artificial flavour
