Your Worst Nightmare
I’m not alive,
But I take lives.
I can’t breathe
So I take others’ breaths.
I don’t care about you
Or your family.
It doesn’t matter to me
What race you are.
I couldn’t care less
About your skin tone,
The texture of your hair,
Or the color of your eyes.
I will destroy your life
Regardless of what you look like.
Many people blame me
For their problems,
But I’m just doing my job.
I’m just destroying
Hopes and dreams.
I turn worst fears
Into a reality.
So who am I?
I am your worst enemy,
A villain
That’s almost impossible to beat.
I am cancer…
You should pray
That you never meet me.
