you're gone and I am glad

I had the thought,

I shed a few tears as a result of it.

but not nearly as many as you caused,

I had the thought,

that I might be able to make you disappear,

not in reality, but only in my imagination,

I had the thought,

that I might be able to cut you off,

Despite the fact that I saw you every day,

That was my thought,

and it happened,

I'm not sorry because you deserved it.

from all the anguish you inflicted on me
