*You're Happy*

There are days I regret.

I sometimes take back my thoughts.

How I wish I kept my head in line.

Maybe we could have gotten past it.

Being apart.

But it still wouldn't work.

You're happy now.

With her you seem to smile more.

Nothing I could do for you.

I miss you and I wish we could still talk.

I miss how you would send me covers of my favorites.

I miss talking on the phone for hours.

I bet you enjoy being able to hold her.

Unlike what we had.

I envy her.

She gets to see you in person.

Everyday at that.

I'm just here to, at the very least, be heard without having people around me giving me sympathy. Don't get to caught about what my poems mean. I don't rhyme. I don't stick to a theme. I write when I need to get something off of my chest and that's it. I don't take the time to use a type of poetry so just deal with it. These are my stories and my life.
