You're Just A Kid

"You're just a kid"

They said with narrow eyes.

Their words cut into me like a sword

A sword in which never comes out.

"You're just a kid"

He said with anger in his eyes.

His hand raised

I flinched

"You're just a kid"

He said looking at me with my black eye.
