You're Needles of Lies

Briana Alexis Williams

 Drug me up,

and make me listen

to all the pathetic things you have to say.

Inject me with your lies,

and watch me overdose from the pain.

I close my eyes,

and think about all those other times

you poked me with that needle.

I feel the rush, no blood flowing through my veins

just the ache of my pain,

and your lies combined.

My skin;

my skin is being punctured by that same needle,

over and over again.

Look at me now Daddy,

now look at what you're lied have done to me.
