You're never there

I come over and you’re not there.

I talk to you and look at you

I walk around you and plead to you

But you’re just not there.

You say you’re always there

You say you care,

But you’re just not there

I’ll tell you about my day

I’ll tell you about my plans

And you’re still not there

You blame it on your mind

You blame it on me,

You say I’m not creative

And it’s driving me insane

You think I will keep putting up with it

But you just don’t understand

That when you’re not there

Is when I stop and don’t care.
