You're In The Past

As though the clocks move forward, more life and that's our craving

Coils the brain and mind, changes time like daylight saving

Spring the eyes like gates to summer on a final school day

Rest and shut the world down and summer's last pool day

I told the man upstairs---that i would change it--as i pray

Reached out with just a question, can you change your clothes from yesterday?

Shut your eyes and open them, while you do that keep them closed

Envision not a different path, but the one you chose

Out of 7 billion paths, there's one everybody knows

Moana told us right, we don't know how far she goes

To think that you Rethink the thoughts you thought were thoughts but otherwise

Is crazy but you swing and miss in baseball and get other tries

The trip feel ancient on an Old Town Road, cards kill my checks and decks

Look at Me and ride til you can't, Lil Nas X and X.

The deep blue sea awaits as your eyes are traveling past

Touching your soul from years ago, as your firsts become your lasts

You look into the stars, no more old now were newer

Outer space vs deep blue, past vs future

Maya said she rose, and seuss had gone his places

allowed to swing and miss, promise you'll end up on those bases

Through 3 stages of life will move, never yield our mindless

Cuz life might be the only thing that ends but still is timeless.
