Yours, Mines, and Ours
People are like words;
We are defined by our race.
Your race defines your physical appearance,
Not your mental capacity.
My race defines what I represent,
Not who I want to be.
Our race defines our culture,
Not our social status.
Your race is something you should be proud of,
Not ashamed and hidden.
My race defines who I am,
Not who other people want me to be.
Our race defines who we are,
Not who we are to become.
Your race defines you.
My race defines me,
Our race defines society.
