Youth

Age is but a state of mind,

Ignorance is bliss but makes us blind.

The true beauty hidden in plain view,

To be plucked from a tree and birthed anew.

A Juliet in every Apple's seed,

waiting to be planted in fields of green.

A Romeo in every patch of earth,

To be filled by gold plains with no worth

The world is young and so are we,

A point at which the youth can't see.

My eyes were blind but now they see,

Youth is the earth and its beauty
