You've Locked Away Eternity

You're the only Watch I know

that's been ravaged by Time,

your arms bent under the demented humor of the Universe,

numbers cracking as Space constricts,

but I want you to know that your painted Face is still beautiful to me,

and is just as good at keeping the pain of eternity locked away

as it's always been.

I love to write– writing is the escape my own mind provides for itself. Reality becomes dull after a while, and more often than not, it becomes overwhelming. Writing is my escape into the fantastical. *I have another account on TeenInk.com under the name GennaElissa*
