You’d prefer an Astronaut

You could have held the world it grew from her shoulders but you were too busy watching her nimble feet crack under the pressure It was amusing witnessing her grace as she made revolutions, over and over again the shadow of the earth passing over your face. You could have shouldered the burden but in that moment you did not care it was better to watch her dancing figure breathe in the stars and exhale the moon. You pulled her in and she orbited you.
