The Zero

We're the place holder.

We're the purposeless boulder.

We’re just another variable in the equation.

We take many things into contemplation.

We’re just one number that’s all.

Nothing more than a faint memory to recall.

We’re the one variable that never fits.

We’re the one thing that never quits.

But we only hold a place for a short time.

We leave with rest the of the grime.

We sit in until the real number comes by.

It’s the truth and not a lie.

Lotus

I have plenty of yarns to spin but I'd rather hear everyone else's before spinning mines once more.
