Zeros and Ones

i promised you that i would keep things simple. i agreed, and kept it to zeros and ones. that’s the only way i knew how to talk to you. at first you laughed because you thought it was cute.  you’d hug me when i began to speak in ones. and then you’d kiss me when i spoke in zeros. when i spoke in both, you lit up so beautifully. the next time i spoke zeros and ones you nodded. the zeros seemed to pass through your ears. and the ones didn’t really stick like they used to. together your eyes didn’t sparkle like they used to.  last night i spoke in zeros and ones to you. you didn’t even flinch at all of  my zeros . my ones seemed to have a similar effect as well. when i spoke of both you only turned away. so what do you want me to tell you? i made a promise to you but i can’t keep it. my zeros and ones mean nothing to you now. so how am i supposed to do this?
