Zeus-Playboy

It started with one party filled with booze,

Steam from Hera’s ears, had begun to ooze,

Her heart filled with hate.

A new girl by his side

When She was his date?

And to no one's surprise,

Hera did not believe his lies.

From parties by night

A new girl by light

A facebook pic

A relationship status

His timing was rhythmic

By the time of the next party

His date was now Aphrodite

Hera’s fury burned

Her jealousy fumed

A lust for revenge,

Had begun to bloom.

Her many “Pranks” on her lovers dates

Had started to satiate her newfound hate

Her playboy boyfriend

Decided to retaliate

The dates in secret had started to form

To Hera’s surprise and scorn

That Cheater!

Did their facebook status mean nothing?

His playboy attitude showed not,

He had abandoned Hera,

Left her to rot!

She would show that liar,

That Player

She would not let him be her heart slayer.

From time and time again this pattern repeated

But neither party would be defeated

Break up and make up

After all of this Zeus still cheated

Through social media’s endeavor

Their emotions now immortalized forever
