Zorro

I have a very special cat, Who, at seventeen pounds, Is very fat. Black and white, like an Oreo, Nearly three years old - my Zorro. He was a stray who showed up in the backyard, And for him, for a time, trusting people was quite hard. Outside I would just sit there And at him stare. My little Zorrie would do the same, And I knew then that he would be possible to tame. I wanted to keep him so bad; I loved him to death. So I asked my parents, And after a time, they said yes. Zor is my best buddy, So big and cuddly, Sweet and cute, And practically mute! Strangely, He loves to watch TV. Sports, sitcoms, everything makes him think, "Wow!" He's even watching with me right now! My baby Zorro is like a two-year-old child Because sometimes he can be so wild! He's for sure a "mama's boy," And puts everything in his mouth 'cause he thinks it's a toy. Sometimes he bites, hits, or "yells" at me, But he's still very affectionate, when he wants to be. Poor Zor doesn't like to talk about his drop-off experience, But we have talked about why in the world there are such idiots. Because for sure . . . One person's trash is another's treasure.
