ɹǝʌo nightmare ƃunɥ
im in a dark cocktail bar
and all my friends are dead.
Their bodies are scattered across the room
damp and soulless.
But one body remain. lingering.
Lingering on, resting beside the dusty bell counter, I sit in a shadowy chair.
peering
peering at nothing.
But my mind needs not the eyes to see the bodies on the floor.
Barely visible in the dark red room.
But in the mind. In MY mind (¿), where a vast pool of my thought swirls viscerally, I can see.
I can see that I am the only life in this room.
In this cocktail bar.
Where my friends’ bodies lay, dead lifeless scattered.
