In’ten(t)
I wrote you a poem of my feelings.
I believe you didn’t even read it.
Don’t worry, I’ll be alright.
You won’t even catch me hanging low.
It’ll only take one beer just to know.
Go for me, things will be fine.
Holy times are becoming foul,
Nightly prayers within the hour
Sorry, but there’s little time.
You are making this harder.
Do I live in your heart or
You ignore me, pray it’s a lie?
You never remembered
The one magnet that worked.
Once worth thee, now falling high.
Five tries it took me.
Five tries to lure thee.
Five times, I shook thee.
Five writes, overlooked me.
Five times, can’t hear me.
I wanted to be with ya.
Be lovey-dovey with ya.
Go out and have dates with ya.
I hoped it was fate with ya.
You silenced me, making it obvious.
You could’ve told me, I’d be serious.
Your silence proves that I was wrong.
Guess I’m the clown chasing
Should’ve stayed in the clouds wasting
I should’ve predicted your
