“Anesthetic”

Please someone give me an anesthetic

Because you always make me feel too much

You leave me on the floor crying medic

My heart explodes with every ounce of your touch

Sometimes someone hurts you so much you’re numb

Until something causes it to all come back

You keep me stuck under the pad of your thumb

I need glue to help me hide all the cracks

What started out as a passionate love

Has instead turned into a tragedy

The word controlling fits you like a glove

The way you play with my heart is agony

I have been willing to turn a blind eye

But not anymore my darling, goodbye
