“Colored Glass”

This movement rose from memories of loss.

Parents or grandparents were part of institutionalized racism;

hoping for a better life.

So, I mix that negro with money

And Y'all haters catch my fly, when I rock my hair and negro nose

Take the country,see it, want it, dream it.

Work hard ‘til all haters

Feel white, red and yellow

altering the content

of colored glass
