“Different”

Is it because I’m different

That you feel the need to lie?

Lie about our friendship

But I can tell, no matter how hard you try

Is it because I’m strange

That you hide your family from me?

Feed them false and lock your doors

And forget the way, that it used to be

Is it because I’m odd

That it’s just me you dismiss?

It’s like it never happened

That sweet, sorrowful kiss

Is it because I’m now a freak

That you’ve stopped loving me back?

Maybe it’s all the hate anger

Because love is my only lack

Is it because I’m different

That I’ve lost my entire life?

Ditched the frills for the shadows of the

Cold

Shiny

Knife
