“Echoes”
Echoes enter the crevices of my being.
The voices lead me to contemplate complex questions.
Who am I to be? What will I become? What is my purpose?
Answers to these inquiries remain unknown,
Hidden within the depths of my soul.
I yearn to analyze life from a perspective of a glass,
That is full to the brim as opposed to its partner that is half empty and unfulfilling.
I position myself on a perch perfectly poised.
Within the depths of my mind,
To observe lives motions from a plethora of angles
Those of which are often times misunderstood and underappreciated.
We simply take them for granted, as if they contain no significance
Other than that of a feeble breath of reality
This even in itself is the beholder of unfathomable power.
A series of mirrors stand opposing each other
Scattered across various dimensions of my brain.
Each one offers a perspective on what my future will bring.
A daunting, but necessary conundrum to ponder I suppose
Whose reflection is appealing to both the mind and soul-
As it penetrates the profundity of my innermost core.
These complex images leave the mind with much to contemplate.
Because each one tells a different story
That culminates in hidden layers of the soul unknown to human perception.
Discernment is fundamental in comprehending however,
This is not an easy task as things are not always what they seem.
There are multiple elements of each reflection,
Meaning the magnitude of what they reveal is a force only we will understand in due season.
Alas! These questions remained unanswered until the day we come full circle,
And greet our destiny.
Only then will we know the resolutions to questions like
Who am I to be? What will I become? What is my purpose?
The answers lie beyond the horizon in a land we have yet to reach
That is deeply embedded within our mind,
Simply formed by the Creator God,
Nurtured by envisioning our reason for existence
Is the meaning of life merely but a contradiction that we will never understand?
That is only for the Creator God to know.
