“Mama Crying”

Mama crying cuz she don’t know what’s wrong with her little girl,

But if only she knew that her mind was just a fucked up world,

More than just a globe with continents and ocean swirls,

Yeah you got grass, dirt, people, and plus a little more,

But listening to my heart it started to feel a little sore,

When you let people in your life it gone tore and tore,

It looking like an old rag that a homeless wore,

Knowing that it all started when I was young and four,

They used to tell me to suck it up and stop that crying,

That my mother wouldn’t believe me and think I’m lying,

Ever since then i don’t know how to really stop from sighing,

All I hear is babygirl you getting tall, you getting strong,

Make sure you get a glass of milk to help yours bones,

But in the end when the boys was gone,

it was just me not my mama I’m all alone,

She left for Korea and I understood that,

I just stood by the door hoping she would come back,

But they always filled my head talking about she don’t want you,

That’s why she dropped you off here at the age of one plus two,

Just looking at that phone hoping that it would just ring,

Looking back wishing I remembered I should’ve told her some things,

But they always have me a look that got me scared,

When I wouldn’t do something they let the dog in the house,

Always watched me get tortured like a big ass dog to a little mouse,

She would be laughing in letting the dog trynna bite near the couch,

But I looked in the dogs eyes she ain’t wanna do it,

But her owner said Brandy you better do it,

I felt like my life was finna end,

That I was finna be like a deer’s coat, the next trend,

Hoping that my mom come through the mail her next send,

Hoping that my little heart back then became amend,

But all I had was a fun size in height I couldn’t fend,

So I snuck to the phone in the mid night,

Dialing my moms number and two nines,

Hoping that she picked at this time,

I fucked up, did I do something wrong,

Because I get hit with nothing but a dial tone,

So I snuck back upstairs back in my bed,

And realized the next day I’m gonna be dead,

I just hope nobody would find out,

So the next day I went outside and tripped on the concrete,

All I seen is blood coming out my bottom knee,

I started to cry hoping someone would help me,

They all just stared and said go in the house Lee,

Mama don’t know what’s wrong with her little girl,

She crying cuz her baby buried in a coffin,

The natural cause was a broken heart like Mary Poppins,

She sucked in too many tears too much she wouldn’t let it out,

Now she six feet alone Rest In Peace without a doubt.
