“Pretty Privilege”

How can you say I have "pretty privilege" but play with a girl right in my face

Maybe my looks are easy to replace but I never wanted "pretty privilege" anyway

Growing up I was so safe, boys never looked my way I was the type who had crushes, and dreams, and the boys I liked were out of my league

All of a sudden I couldn't take the fact that boys didn't have me on a list or I wasn't an option nor a first pick

Then the summer of 2022 hit

I wore this outfit I was very uncomfortable in, and he called me pretty on that day

So "pretty privilege" is not real, it's what boys say just to make you blush, or look their way,

but Miss Independent is what he should have said.
