“Song Of Myself”

Up above, Beyond the world, Stands a tree upon the velvet clouds. Under this tree she sits, Silhouetted Smiling, Sound in her peace, Safe. Here the bright sun shines, Upon her and that tree. Oh, that tree that blooms, As her smile grows. Swoosh. The sweet wind blows. It shakes the tree causing a blossom to fall upon her lap. She gently guides it down to those she loves, Causing a wave of smiles as it burst into vibrant hues. It’s a cycle. They smile she smiles, She smiles they smile. ~ Selena Valles
